Ahhhhhh can’t believe this day is finally here!! If you know me personally, then you know that I have flirted with the idea of launching this website/blog for the past couple of years now, but somehow I have stalled and always made excuses that I was never ready. After all the back and forth, I’m so glad and proud to be finally launching my baby, FashionRahab.

Quick Intro

Welcome to my blog! My name is Nancin (pronounced Nan-Chin), and I am a Nigerian- American who moved to the United States in 2009, at the age of 14. I created this space to share my love for fashion, and my continuing self discovery journey. This space is especially for the girl that currently struggles with finding her voice and the girl who doesn’t feel seen. I want you to know that you are not alone and that I see you.

Why the name Fashion Rahab?

The name Fashion Rahab is coined from two things I love dearly – fashion, and my late aunt, Rahab. My aunt passed away in 2013 and losing her was and is still probably the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. After her passing, I thought of a way to carry on her legacy – I wanted everyone in the world to know who she was and what kind of impact she made in my life. So I decided to name my blog after her.

Aunty, this blog is dedicated to you. I hope you are looking down at me from heaven smiling. I love you!

What can you expect to see from this space?

Although the main reason I created this space is to share my growing love for fashion, that wouldn’t be all you will see here. For me, fashion and confidence have always intersected in my life; and I intend to share both sides of that coin with you. So not only will you be getting regular style and fashion tips, you can also expect to see blog posts on mindset, confidence, affirmations, lifestyle, and so much more. I also have a category on my blog that I have titled “Journal”. In my journal blog posts, I will be getting a bit more personal and sharing my story and letting you in on what I’m currently learning in my journey through life.

I really appreciate you for being here and can’t wait to take you along this ride with me!

XOXO,

Nancin

In loving memory of my aunt, Rahab
